Thanks to funds provided by the May 2020 Haiti Hunger Relief, the villagers were able to buy food and seeds. The rains came. The seeds grew. Peanuts, corn and other crops provide food and some income.
During the summer 0f 2020, villagers fenced the entire perimeter of the school—the new fencing protects the children at play and the crops growing in the fields nearby.
Below are some recent photos provided by our friend Carlos. The school, the fencing, the crops, the green lushness, and the mountains beyond mountains all depict the beauty and hope that is Haiti.
